Testing Good Notes with ByZero iPad Pen
Started using Goodnotes this evening with the ByZero Pen, and it’s pretty nice. I decided to put together a quick list of observations regarding the app. Hope this helps in regards to feedback with the app:

I ended coming to the same conclusion, but not after losing much critical data. I was saved because I emailed the .PDF’s to myself. However, that being said, with the amount of headache and issues people are having with this latest incarnation of NotesPlus, I am quite weary of dedicating any serious time, effort and data to the app. So, I have opted to move on to a new app. I am a Notability user, but I don’t like the notebook management nor the inking of the app, so I’ve found something which I think will suit my workflow better. Readdle has recently released a rather robust Note Taking app with fantastic customizability and .PDF support. The app is called Remarks, and it runs for $4.99 on the app store. I am going to move over all of my stuff from NotesPlus to this app. After using it for a couple hours last night, I didn’t encounter any Show Stopping bugs, and from my research on the company, it looks like they really focus on stability alongside features and improving overall user Productivity.
Hit up the link to check out what the app has to offer:

I’ll keep an eye out for NotesPlus in the future, but honestly, it’s going into the garage with that cool car I just haven’t got around to fixing yet.
Sad I know. It has so much potential.
Cheers,

Some recent sketches mostly composed with NotesPlus and exported to ArtRage on iPad.
A sketch created in NotesPlus and finished in ArtRage on the iPad.
Starting back with the whole Pen and Paper and doing my digital tuning. Man I really miss the ink.
I recently picked up noteshelf for my iPad 2, and it has the ability to add custom pages to your notebooks. Well, in the spirit of GTD and journaling, I went ahead and created some custom pages. Feel free to grab them below:

So recently I’ve gotten in to the Personal Kanban way of doing things and have decided to softly implement it for my day to day work. I’ve looked for a digital solution which was secure, and while there are a bunch of great tools out there, ultimately they all live in the cloud, and well, being in an Enterprise environment, I can’t use their solutions. So, I decided to go ahead and put together a solution using Numbers. The reason for this is that I am able to maintain a Backlog and a Kanban board in a single Project File. While it isn’t as sexy as an always on and collaborative ready tool, it does the job. Anyway, here are a couple of screen shots of the Kanban, and you can also download the Numbers file if you want to check it out.

I had seen this coming almost three months ago…the undying passion, the eternal joy, the blind faith to the dream that would be. It was one of the first times in my life where I felt like I actually got it right.
She moved her arm slightly, making more room for the newborn kitten between us.
“So, you really don’t mind this little bundle of claws and sharp little kitten teeth?” she asked.
“Not in the least. In fact, I think we should start leash training him so we can take him out for daily walks just to confuse the hell out of dogs and their owners.”
She let out a little laugh and picked the kitten up and held him above us. He opened his eyes slowly and let out a little meow.
“You see. I think he agrees with me,” I said, rubbing his little chin.
“We’ll see about the leash thing…but I am happy you like him.”
“Have you decided on a name yet?”
She brought the kitten back down and placed him on my chest. His purr box went into overdrive.
“I was thinking of the name Felineous,” she said with a huge smile.
“That’s a bit of a mouthful.”
“Ha! Well let’s just say it’s a good candidate for a name.”
I rubbed the top of Felineous’ head with my index finger. He squinted at me and let out a little meow-purr.
“Hello Felineous…how is the fierce kitty?” I asked.
“Meow purr urr urr mee-up rrr,” he announced with much pleasure.
“You see. I think he likes his name,” she said.
“I think you’re right…but I think we should still discuss his leash training. It would be awesome.”
She gave me a light kiss on the cheek.
“We’ll have to see what he thinks about that,” she said, getting up from the bed.
I took Felineous in my hands. He was so small that he fit in both of my hands. I stood up and walked to the window overlooking the park.
“You see that down there Felineous? That is your world. And one day, you’ll show the world that not everything is as it should be. We’ll have you on that leash…just to mess with all their heads.”
